How MEDITELI works
How research becomes a structured brief.
MEDITELI turns published biomedical research into clear, structured research briefs. Every brief follows the same four steps, from the original study to a readable summary.
Find
We search PubMed for newly published biomedical studies across eight clinical fields, taking each paper’s record and abstract directly from the source.
Filter
An automated screening step scores each study from its PubMed record. Studies that do not pass this screening are not published automatically — quality comes before volume.
Summarize
Each study is converted into a structured research brief under strict editorial rules. Nothing is invented: if the abstract does not state something, the brief does not claim it.
Publish
Each brief passes a final quality gate, then is published with a direct link to the original study and clear notes on the result’s certainty and limitations.
About the MEDITELI score. This automated score uses information from the PubMed record, including publication recency, to help select studies for MEDITELI. It is not a measure of the strength of clinical evidence. Secondary, follow-up and extension analyses are not reliably distinguished from the original trial.
About the publication type. The publication type shown on each brief is a simplified grouping of the publication-type tags in the PubMed record. It is not an independent check of the study design. “Research Article” means that none of the grouped tags was found.
