MEDITELI
MEDITELI is an automated research curation platform. It monitors PubMed for newly published medical studies, scores them for evidence quality, and generates structured, plain-language research briefs using AI — so readers can stay informed without parsing full academic papers.
How it works
The system operates in three phases. First, articles are retrieved from the PubMed API and scored based on study design, statistical rigor, sample size, recency, and publication type. Second, articles that pass the evidence threshold are summarized by an AI model that extracts the core scientific signal — what was studied, how, what was observed, and what the limitations are. Third, approved summaries are published with a direct link to the original source on PubMed.
How articles are selected
MEDITELI draws exclusively from PubMed, the U.S. National Library of Medicine database. The pipeline favors recent publications and study designs with higher evidence strength — particularly randomized controlled trials, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses. Observational studies, case reports, and preliminary research appear less frequently due to automated scoring that weights study design, sample size, and statistical rigor. This means the published selection is not representative of all medical research — it is deliberately filtered toward higher-quality evidence. The entire process is automated; there is no manual editorial selection.
Why AI, why source linking
AI enables consistent, structured summaries at a pace that manual curation cannot sustain. Every brief follows the same format. Direct linking to PubMed ensures readers can always verify the original research. MEDITELI frames evidence — it does not replace it.
Who it’s for
Healthcare professionals tracking literature across specialties. Researchers monitoring adjacent fields. Informed readers who want evidence-based health information without the barrier of full journal articles.
What MEDITELI is not
This is not a medical advisory service. There is no human editorial board reviewing summaries before publication. MEDITELI does not assess the clinical value of individual studies, recommend treatments, or provide personalized health information. Published summaries are not automatically updated if the source study is later retracted or corrected. It is an automated tool — treat its output accordingly.
